Cougars Begin Spring Practice, Announce Exhibition Matches
PROVO, Utah - Fresh off an NCAA Final Four appearance, the BYU women’s volleyball team begins spring practices on Tuesday, Feb. 12, and will compete in a number of exhibition matches over the next two months in preparation for the 2019 season this fall.
The Cougars will first host Utah at noon on Saturday, Feb. 23, in the Smith Fieldhouse. The following month, BYU will play at Utah Valley at 2 p.m. on March 8 and at a one-day tournament at Utah on March 30 starting at 8 a.m. Spring competition and practices will conclude on April 12 at 6 p.m. when the Cougars host Weber State.
All matches are free admission.
BYU returns four All-Americans, including seniors Mary Lake and McKenna Miller, junior Kennedy Eschenberg, and sophomore Heather Gneiting, last year’s national freshman of the year.
