Haddock-Eppich Claims WCC Player of the Week
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Senior setter Lyndie Haddock-Eppich has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season, the league announced Monday.
Haddock-Eppich and the No. 1 BYU women’s volleyball defeated LMU and Pepperdine in a pair of sweeps last week. Both the Lions and the Waves were receiving votes in the national polls at the time.
Haddock-Eppich picked up a double-double against the Lions by collecting 24 assists and a season-high 12 digs, leading the team in each category. She also put up four kills on five swings, an ace and a block. Against the Waves, Haddock-Eppich contributed 35 assists and 11 digs for another double-double. She also added a career-high seven blocks and three kills on four swings.
This is her second WCC Player of the Week award of her career and fifth in nine weeks this season for BYU.
