The Dons (3-26, 0-16 WCC) fired back with a 5-0 run to shorten BYU’s lead to 14-8. However, it didn’t prove to be enough as the Cougars responded with a 4-0 rally to increase the lead to double-digits at 19-9. A kill by Lacy Haddock and an attack error by the Dons secured the set for BYU, 25-12.
A pair of Miller kills and a Jones-Perry ace pushed BYU on a 5-0 run to take an early 9-4 advantage in the second set. Back-to-back kills from Jones-Perry propelled the Cougars to a 17-12 lead. The two teams traded blows until another two Jones-Perry kills finished the set, 25-17.

Back-to-back kills by Stetler and Kennedy Redding pushed the Cougars to a 21-7 advantage. Two kills from Lacy Haddock, a kill from Stetler and a service error by the Dons gave BYU the third set 25-12.
