PROVO, Utah – Senior middle blocker Amy Boswell was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week for the second-straight week, the league announced Wednesday.

Boswell helped No. 10 BYU women’s volleyball to three road wins over the week to collect the outright West Coast Conference title for a third-consecutive season.

Against San Francisco, she was nearly flawless – collecting a match-high 16 kills with just one hitting error for a .577 clip. She also added four solo blocks, second-most all-time in the BYU rally-scoring era. Then, against Santa Clara, Boswell added 13 kills on a .375 clip and had a match-high six blocks. To finish off the week at Loyola Marymount, she collected 15 kills on a .314 hitting percentage.

On the week, Boswell averaged 3.39 kills per set, a .412 clip, 4.19 points per set while adding six solo blocks and five block assists.

This is her second conference weekly honor of the year and fourth of her career. This is the third such award for the Cougars this season.
