No. 10 BYU travels to San Francisco and Santa Clara

PROVO, Utah – No. 10 BYU women’s volleyball hits the road again this week for a pair of matches at San Francisco and Santa Clara.

Last Time Out

The Cougars (24-3, 13-2 West Coast Conference) beat Gonzaga in four sets before sweeping Portland at home. Amy Boswell was named the WCC Player of the Week for her performances.

San Francisco

  • BYU faces San Francisco (4-24, 0-15 WCC) on Thursday, Nov. 17, at 7 p.m. PST at the War Memorial Gym.
  • The Cougars swept the Dons at home earlier this season.
  • BYU holds a perfect 13-0 advantage in the overall series history with San Francisco.
  • The Dons are led by new head coach Vicki Brown.

Santa Clara

  • The Cougars compete against the Broncos (15-12, 6-9 WCC) on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 1 p.m. PST at the Leavey Event Center.
  • BYU swept Santa Clara earlier this season at home.
  • The Cougars lead the overall series history with the Broncos 8-4. BYU has won the past two meetings between the schools.
  • Santa Clara split its matches last week on the road, falling in four to Pepperdine before winning at Loyola Marymount in four.
