Boswell named to CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team
PROVO, Utah – Senior middle blocker Amy Boswell was added to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-District First Team, the organization announced Thursday.
Boswell is one of just six players playing collegiate volleyball in the West and Canada (District 8 - Division I) to be added to the team by a vote of collegiate sports information directors. She advances to the All-America First, Second and Third Team voting which will take place later this month.
Boswell is majoring in nursing and has maintained a 3.90 GPA through her academic career at BYU.
The Aloha, Oregon, native is currently the No. 2 blocker in the West Coast Conference, averaging 1.26 blocks per set. She also sits at No. 17 in the nation in hitting percentage (.393).
Boswell is the only representative selected from the WCC this year. This is her third-consecutive Academic All-District First Team honor.
