No. 14 BYU travels to Pacific, Saint Mary's

PROVO, Utah – No. 14 BYU women’s volleyball continues conference play on the road this week, heading to Pacific and Saint Mary’s.

Last Time Out

The Cougars (20-3, 9-2 West Coast Conference) swept No. 5 San Diego at home to get within one match of first place in league play.

Pacific

  • BYU faces Pacific (14-10, 8-4 WCC) Thursday, Nov. 3, at 7 p.m. PDT.
  • The Cougars swept the Tigers in the matchup earlier this season at home.
  • Pacific sits in third place in the conference standings, having lost twice to Pepperdine and once each to San Diego and BYU.
  • The Tigers have never beaten the Cougars since joining the WCC. BYU holds an 11-7 advantage in the overall series history.

Saint Mary’s

  • The Cougars finish out the week competing against the Gaels (10-13, 5-7 WCC) Saturday, Nov. 5, at 1 p.m. PDT.
  • BYU swept Saint Mary’s at home earlier this year.
  • The Gaels stand alone in seventh place in the current conference standings.
  • The Cougars lead the overall series history 10-7 and have won the last five meetings.
