BYU drops final match in China

BEIJING – BYU lost a tough three set match to the Beijing BAIC Motor Company Volleyball Club (26-28, 20-25, 22-25) in their final match in China. The Cougars finish the trip with a 5-1 record.

The sixth ranked professional team in China put together a well rounded attack against the Cougars. BYU was ahead 18-14 before BAIC rallied for a comeback to win the first set. Set two was back and forth throughout until BAIC team pulled away late. In the third set, BYU scored 11 out of the last 17 points but came up a little short.
