COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Jennifer Hamson has been selected to participate in the U.S. Collegiate National Team this summer in Minneapolis.

In conjunction with the USA Volleyball Girls’ Junior National Championships, the program will run from June 22 to July 1. Hamson is one of 36 collegiate volleyball players from around the country selected to participate.

Following several days of training, the athletes will be divided into three equal teams that will compete in a round-robin event from June 27-30. The program is considered a second tryout for the U.S. Women’s National Team.

The team will be led by retired coaches Mike Hebert and Bill Neville, who both have experience coaching on the collegiate and international level.

This is the second year that Hamson will participate in the U.S. Collegiate National Team (formerly known as the U.S. Women’s National A2 Team) having previously participated in the summer of 2012.
