BYU Women's Swim Team Returns To Action Friday
PROVO -- The BYU women's swim team will start the second half of its season Friday as they travel to Fort Collins to take on Colorado State. The meet between the Rams (4-0) and Cougars (2-0) is one of the most anticipated meets of the season.
"Colorado State is really good," said BYU women's head coach Stan Crump. "We match up well against them and it should be a good meet."
Last year when the Rams came to Provo the Cougars were led by U-Nice Chan and Angela Goodson as they each placed first in three different events helping BYU win 162-128. This year's meet will feature a Colorado State squad that matches up well against a BYU squad that hasn't competed since Thanksgiving.
"We should be ready and do well tomorrow," said Coach Crump. "We look good on paper and are well prepared."
The meet will begin at 6 p.m. MST in Fort Collins, Colo.
