Washington State meet canceled
PROVO, Utah – Friday’s BYU women’s swimming meet against Washington State has been canceled due to poor traveling conditions and will not be rescheduled.
Washington State’s flight was canceled, leaving the team unable to travel to Utah in time for the meet. The head coaches decided not to reschedule the competition because of the limited amount of time before the conference championships.
Though a missed opportunity for meet experience, it gives the women’s team more time to train for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships that will begin Feb. 19 at East Los Angeles College.
