Spring Season Begins Saturday
PROVO, Utah - The BYU women's soccer team begins its spring season this weekend and continues through April with games at home and on the road to prepare for the upcoming 2012 season, beginning in August.
This Saturday, February 25, the Cougars host their annual Indoor Tournament with match-ups against teams from all over the state. Teams like Weber State, Westminister and UVU will join BYU at the Indoor Practice Facility on campus.
After the tournament BYU hits the road for games in Arizona, Las Vegas and southern Utah. On March 3 they'll compete on the road against Arizona State and the University of Arizona, after which they'll head to Las Vegas for a game against UNLV on March 24. To round out the road swing they'll play at Dixie College on April 7.
One week later, on April 14, the Cougars return to play on South Field for the first time since last season with games against the University of Utah and Utah State in the annual Outdoor Tournament. Game times have not yet been decided for the Outdoor Tournament.
For this weekend's games, the Indoor Practice Facility is located just West of the Smith Fieldhouse.
