Spring Wrap-up in Outdoor Tournament at South Field

PROVO -- Wrapping up their spring season, the Cougars will host the annual spring outdoor tournament this Saturday which will feature seven different Division I schools around Utah and Idaho.

All games will be played on Saturday, April 10, at either South Stadium Field or Haws Field.

The Cougars will get a chance to play in-state rival Utah in the first game of the day at 10 a.m. on South Field. Then, at 2:30 p.m., they will take on Idaho State again at South Field.

Also as a part of this tournament, BYU will be playing its annual Alumni Game on South Field at 6 p.m. Hundreds of former players and their families will be in attendance.

Fans are encouraged to come out and support the Cougars this weekend.

BYU has gone 7-2 in this year's spring action with its most recent wins coming over Stephen F. Austin and Texas A&M. The Cougars have tallied five shutout wins, one win over a MWC opponent and two wins over teams that played in the 2009 NCAA tournament.
