Soccer heads to St. George
PROVO, Utah – BYU women's soccer continues its spring season with a tournament at Dixie State University on Saturday March 22. The Cougars will face Southern Utah University at 1:30 p.m. MDT and will take on host Dixie State at 5:30 p.m. MDT. Each game will be played at Hansen Stadium on Dixie State's campus. Fans are encouraged to attend either game. Admission is free.
So far this spring, BYU has defeated Arizona State 2-1, Weber State 5-1, Idaho State 4-1 and Westminster 5-0. Freshman forward Ashley Hatch leads the team with six goals and four assists, while Sarah Chambers has added three goals and four assists and Jaiden Thornock and Niki Fernandes each have two goals and two assists.
Following this weekend in St. George, BYU travels to Las Vegas on April 5 to play UNLV and USC before hosting a tournament at South Field in Provo on April 12 against Utah and Utah State.
