BYU Gymnastics on the road against Texas Women's

PROVO, Utah – The BYU women’s gymnastics team hits the road to take on Texas Women’s University, Saturday March 3^rd, at 7:00 p.m. MST. TWU will be hosting BYU, Iowa and Southeast Missouri State in their final home meet of the season.

The Cougars are coming off a victory against Utah State and Southern Utah University at home.

“In the home meets you would think the energy would be the highest,” BYU head coach Brad Cattermole said. “But at home there can be so many distractions. The good thing about being on the road is the gymnasts are able to really focus in and compete.”

Going into the second half of the season, the Cougars are looking to continue to improve.

“We’re past the point of doing a ton of routines,” Cattermole said. “Now that we are hitting our routines, we are concentrating on being more exact here and there. Everyone is trying to fine tune every little thing and make every part of their routine as good as possible.”
