Margraf earns second MRGC accolade of the 2023 season
LOGAN, Utah — BYU’s sophomore Mina Margraf earned Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Co-Beam Specialist of the Week for her second time this season, the organization announced Monday.
BYU last competed on Friday, Feb. 24 in the Smith Fieldhouse to celebrate senior night. After a tough meet in Boise, the Cougars bounced back with a home win against the Aggies, 196.450-195.425. Six BYU seniors were honored following the meet against Utah State.
Margraf notched a 9.900 on the beam in BYU’s third rotation against Utah State on Friday evening, solidifying her MRGC honors alongside Boise State’s Emily Lopez and Utah State’s Brianna Brooks and Carley Bayles.
