BYU hits the road again for a meet against Utah State on Friday
PROVO, Utah - The No. 12 BYU Cougars heads to the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah, to face MRGC rival No. 14 Utah State on Friday at 7 p.m. MST.
Most recently, BYU invited Utah State to the Smith Fieldhouse on Jan. 28 for the Cougars' first home meet of the season. BYU won, notching a 196.775 over Utah State’s 196.450.

THE COUGARS. Jumping seven spots in the national rankings this week, No. 12 BYU reached its season-high score of 197.225 in its meet against MRGC rival Southern Utah on Friday, Feb. 18 in the Smith Fieldhouse. Senior Sadie Miner-Van Tassell competed for all-around and came away with another career high of 39.525 to receive the MRGC Gymnast of the Week honor for the sixth week in a row. Brittney Vitkauskas notched a career-high 9.975 on floor to secure her the MRGC Floor Specialist of the Week honors and tie the second-highest floor score in program history. The Cougars also competed in a quad meet at Stanford University on President’s Day and scored a 196.525, finishing second with the host Cardinal.
THE AGGIES. USU jumped seven spots in the national rankings after its 195.800 performance against Boise State on Friday, Feb. 18. Currently ranked No. 14, the Aggies reached a new season-high score on floor of 49.500 in their competition against the Broncos. Utah State’s freshman standout Brie Clark scored a 9.950 on floor to take home her sixth event title of the season.
