Miner earns fourth MRGC Gymnast of the Week honor

LOGAN, Utah – Junior Abbey Miner was named Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference Gymnast of the Week for her performance against Boise State on Friday.

BYU's highest scoring gymnast in the all-around this season, Miner once again turned in the MRGC's best performance to earn the weekly honor for the fourth week in a row. She achieved an overall 39.100 after scoring a 9.800 on vault, 9.625 on bars, 9.825 on beam and 9.850 on floor.

Coming up, the Cougars return home as they face Sacramento State in the Smith Fieldhouse on Friday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. MST.
