PROVO, Utah – BYU gymnastics hits the road to take on the University of Arizona on Friday.

The Cougars placed second last week with a total score of 195.550 in a tri-meet with Utah State and New Hampshire. Utah State finished in first with 196.025 and New Hampshire in third with 193.825.

Emily Vidmar tied her personal best of 9.850 on bars, while Mackenzie Douglas set a personal record on floor with a 9.875. Éliane Kulczyk was named Co-Specialist of the Week for her performance on bars, scoring a career-high 9.900. BYU also recorded a team season-high 49.325 on floor last Friday.
