First day jitters at NCAA Regionals

ERIE, Colo. –Maggie Yuan is tied for 70th after a first round 5-over 77 at the NCAA West Regionals on Thursday.

While 70th seems like a long way out, the BYU senior is only three strokes behind 18th place. After bogies on four of her first nine holes, Yuan shot just one bogey on her back nine.

The 54-hole tournament will resume on Friday for round two action and will conclude on Saturday.
