Women Picked to Finish Fourth
SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The BYU women’s golf team has been selected to finish fourth in the West Coast Conference women’s golf preseason poll of the WCC’s six head coaches.
Seniors Maggie Yuan and Amanda Keith were also selected to the preseason All-Conference Team. Yuan finished in the top five at the 2011 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship.
Pepperdine was selected to repeat as champion after receiving four first place votes (coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team). Pepperdine led all WCC teams with four golfers on the all-conference team.
Gonzaga University was picked to finish second in the WCC. The Bulldogs received one first place vote while the University of San Francisco was picked to finish third.
Santa Clara and Seattle round out the coaches' preseason poll.
