Cougars in Second After First Day of Circling Raven Invitational
WORLEY, Idaho — The women’s golf team stormed out of the gate on the first day of the Circling Raven Collegiate on Monday.
The Cougars are tied for second overall, just two stokes behind tournament leader, Northern Arizona.
After the first round of the tournament Maggie Yuan leads the Cougars, tied for ninth overall. Yuan shot a team low 75 on the day. Not far behind are Amanda Keith and Ashley Malaska, both tied for 21st overall with first-round scores of 77.
The Cougars will finish up their first tournament of the season on Tuesday.
