Bollinger, Copier Receive All-American Academic Honor

COLORADO SPRINGS -- Senior Jade Bollinger and junior Emily Copier were named to the 2010 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Team for Division I.

A total of 494 women's collegiate golfers from NCAA Divisions I, II and III were recognized by the NGCA. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team includes carrying a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average and competing in at least 50 percent (Division I) or 66 percent (Division II and III) of her institution's regularly-scheduled competitive rounds during the year.

The two were among the 12 recipients from the Mountain West Conference.

Bollinger and Copier were also named to the 2010 Academic All-MWC Team and received the league’s Scholar Athlete Awards. Bollinger’s cumulative GPA was 3.79 while Copier’s was 3.90.
