Bollinger, Yuan Lead BYU

LAS -- Junior Jade Bollinger led the BYU women’s golf team on day two of the UNLV Spring Rebel Invitational with a round of 2-over-par, helping the Cougars place 10th going into the final round of competition.

BYU is now +24 overall for the event after posting a round-two total of 302, 14 strokes over par. The Cougars are one stroke behind Wisconsin and two shots ahead of Missouri.

Bollinger’s round featured two birdies and improved her overall score to +3, which is tied for 17th place. Sophomore Maggie Yuan still leads the Cougars in the tournament with an overall score of 2-over-par. She posted a 75 on Tuesday and is now tied for 13th place in the field of 95 golfers.

Freshman Kelsey Vines also recorded a second-round score of 75 and is +8 overall to tie for 47th place. Freshman Amanda Keith was +6 in the second round while senior Sara Romero went +7.

The tournament will conclude Wednesday.
