Von Arnim Shoots Career Low

HOUSTON -- In the second and final round of the Texas A&M "Mo"morial at Blackhorse G.C., freshman Danielle von Arnim shot her career low of two-over-par 74. Von Arnim also accomplished her first top-20 finish tying for 17th.

Due to immense rain in Monday's first round, all nineteen teams had to evacuate after eight holes of play despite the plan of playing 36 holes that day. The arrangement for the second day of play was to try to get in 28 holes, and they did just that. The tournament was called after 36 holes due to teams needing to make their flights after the second round.

Baylor won the tourney with a seven shot lead (610) over Arkansas (617), leaving BYU in 14th shooting 329-307--636 (+60).

BYU will have some time to catch up in school and plenty of practice time before their next event in Los Angeles for the UCLA Bruins Classic, March 24-26.
