BYU's Carrie Summerhays leads the Lady Aztec Invitational

BYU sophomore Carrie Summerhays leads the EWGA/Lady Aztec Invitational after shooting a first round 2-under-par on Monday at the Singing Hills Country Club in El Cajon, California.

"I was really playing well 100 yards and in today," Summerhays said. "I was pretty happy with my putting and I made a lot of key putts."

Summerhays holds a two-shot lead heading into Tuesday's second and final round as sixth-place BYU tries to close the gap between them and first-place California.
