Haczkiewicz finishes top-25 at Silverado Showdown, BYU takes 15th

NAPA, Calif. — Annick Haczkiewicz grabbed her sixth straight top-25 finish as BYU finished 15th at the Silverado Showdown, Wednesday.

No. 5 San Jose State took home the team title after posting rounds of 287-290-293—870 for a 6-over-par 54-hole total. No. 2 Oregon finished at 8-over-par with rounds of 288-297-287—872 to finish two back of the Spartans. 

No. 11 Texas A&M took third after posting 294-292-294—880 to tie with No. 26 Arizona who shot 297-292-291—880. No. 12 USC finished with rounds of 300-297-290—887.

Haczkiewicz fired rounds of 72-77-73—222 to finish in a tie for 22nd. This marks her sixth-straight top-25 finish and seventh in eight events this season. 

Allysha Mae Mateo finished 33rd after rounds of 76-73-76—225. Lila Galeai shot 82-79-73—234, while freshman Addie Anderson posted 80-76-79—235. Maddie White carded rounds of 82-81-79—242 to wrap up the scoring for the Cougars. 

BYU tees it up next at the Red Hawk Invitational at Chambers Bay Golf Course, April 11-12.
