PROVO – Members of the BYU women's golf team will tee it up at various tournaments next week, including Allysha Mae Mateo at the U.S. Women's Amateur in Rockville, Maryland. 

The 2020 U.S. Women's Amateur Championship at the Woodmont Country Club begins Monday, August 3. The event features several collegiate golfers and 20 golfers listed in the top 50 of the Women’s World Amateur Golf Ranking. Mateo is scheduled to tee off at 8:13 a.m. ET on Monday, with her second round at 12:13 p.m. on Tuesday.

In addition to Mateo, three of her teammates are playing locally in the Utah Women’s Open at Thanksgiving Point on Monday and Tuesday. Kerstin Fotu, Naomi Soifua and Annick Haczkiewicz will compete in the Lehi, Utah, event.
