BYU Women's Golf Signs New Golfer
PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s golf announced the signing of Portland, Oregon native Alexa Udom Thursday.
Udom, a senior at Westview High School, became the first women’s golfer in her high school’s history to win a state championship after taking first in 2018. She also helped lead her school to a team championship in 2017, and most recently finished runner-up individually in this year's state championship.
Udom advanced to the round of 64 of the US Girls Junior over the summer after taking first in qualifying. She also finished runner-up at the 2019 Oregon Junior Amateur.
Udom will join the Cougars upon graduating high school and will be on the roster for the fall 2020 season.
