CLE ELUM, Wash. — BYU women’s golf senior Rose Huang fired a 68 (-4) for her best round on the final day of the Cle Elum NCAA Regional on Wednesday.

“She hit the ball well enough today to score and made some key putts,” BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. “It was quite the performance to end her career.”

The 68 was the third-best score of the day among all competitors, and put her in 35th place overall with a 221 (+5) total score to cap off her BYU career. A four-time All-WCC selection, Huang was the 2016 WCC Player of the Year as a freshman.

USC, Washington, Northwestern Arkansas, San Jose State and UCF were the six teams to advance to nationals and Kathleen Scavo (Oregon), Aneka Seumanutafa (Ohio State) and Ellie Slama (Oregon State) advanced as the top individuals not from those teams.
