SPOKANE, Wash. – BYU women's golf heads to the Manito Golf & Country Club for the West Coast Conference Championship on Thursday.

"We are excited to compete at the WCC Championship," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "We look to build off Texas and perform our best."

The Cougars had their best result of the seaon in their last event by placing fourth in The Bruzzy at Lantana Golf Course. Rose Huang (T6th), Naomi Soifua (T8th) and Allysha Mae Mateo (T8th) all finished in the Top 10.

Huang and BYU are the defending league champions. Last season at Carlton Oaks Golf Club in Santee, California, the Cougars beat Pepperdine in a playoff for the team title and Huang outpaced the competition with a two-under for the individual title. BYU has won three-straight WCC titles.

Teams will play an 18-hole round on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Live scoring will be available at GolfStat.com.
