Kennedy has BYU in fourth at Entrada Classic

ST. GEORGE, Utah – Anna Kennedy's one-over through two rounds put BYU women's golf in fourth place at the BYU at Entrada Classic on Monday.

"Great rounds by Anna (Kennedy) and Allysha Mae (Mateo) helped us move up in that second round," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "We're looking to continue to move up as a team tomorrow."

Kennedy finished the day tied for third place. Mateo's one-under in the second round gave her an overall score of three-over, good for 14th place.

Rose Huang shot eight-over through two rounds. Naomi Soifua was one stroke off Huang's pace, and Maria Bernal Clavijo finished at 15-over.

West Coast Conference teams San Francisco and Santa Clara finished the day tied for seventh and 11th, respectively. Southern Utah was tied with the Dons at seventh, and Utah Valley ended up in 14th place.

The tournament will conclude with tomorrow's final round, beginning at 8:30 p.m. MDT. Live stats and the leaderboard are available at GolfStat.com
