Huang named WCC Golfer of the Month
PROVO, Utah – Rose Huang took home West Coast Conference Golfer of the Month honors for her performances in February.
Huang finished even-par in two of three rounds at the Gold Rush tournament in Southern California to finish tied for ninth. In the third round, she posted a birdie or par on every hole except one to move up four spots and help BYU to its best round.
Earlier in the month at the Rebel Beach Intercollegiate in Las Vegas, the senior finished 12-over and tied for 25th overall. She helped BYU move up four spots on the final day to finish eighth as a team.
Huang, who won the WCC Golf Championship in 2017-2018, is being honored for the first time this season.
