LAS VEGAS – BYU women's golf begins its spring season Monday at the Rebel Beach Invitational in Las Vegas.

"We are excited to get going," BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. "The girls have been working really hard and we are looking forward to this semester."

Co-hosted by UNLV and Long Beach State, the tournament will take place at the par-72, 6,355-yard Spanish Trail Country Club. Teams will play 36 holes on Monday and conclude on Tuesday with 18 holes.

The Cougars are the sole representative from the West Coast Conference among a 16-team field. Last season, BYU finished third, with current sophomore Naomi Soifua (T7) and senior Rose Huang (T17) finishing in the Top 20.

Live scoring for the event will be updated at BirdieFire.com.
