BYU heads to Hawai'i for final tournament
KAPOLEI, Hawai’i – BYU women’s golf will participate in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational on Oct. 29-31 for the team’s final tournament of the fall season.
“Preparation has been going well,” BYU head coach Carrie Roberts said. “The girls are working hard and being specific with what they work on.”
The Cougars last participated in the Wahine Invitational in 2016 when the team took second place. BYU won the tournament the year before in 2015. The team looks for its first victory this season as they travel to the home state of BYU golfers Rose Huang and Allysha Mae Mateo. Huang took second place last time the Cougars were in Hawai'i in 2016.
The tournament will be played at the par-72, 6,128-yard Kapolei Golf Course on the island of Oahu. Live stats and the leaderboard can be found at Golfstat.
