Women's golf adds two to 2018-19 roster

PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s golf will add two recruits to the 2018-19 roster, announced the team on signing day.

Annick Haczkiewicz from Las Vegas, Nevada, and Allysha Mae Mateo from Mililani, Hawaii, will join the Cougars in the 2018-19 season.

Annick Haczkiewicz
-Prepped at Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas
-Won the individual Nevada state title in 2015
-Tied for 17th at Junior Worlds in 2017
-Had a record setting round at Siena Golf Club, shooting 63 (-9) to win the regional championship
-Three-time regional girls' champion 2015-2017
-Played in the US Girls’ Junior and made it to the round of 16

Allysha Mae Mateo
-Prepped at Maryknoll School
-Shot a career low 66 at The Club at Hokuli’a
-Qualified for the 2017 USGA US Girls’ Junior
-Posted top-5 finishes at the HHSAA State Champions every year
-Member of the 2014-16 Asia Pacific Junior Cup Hawaii Team
-Named to the Interscholastic League of Honolulu First-Team
-Member of the National Honor Society
