White to represent BYU women's golf at National Championships
PROVO, Utah — Senior Alexandra White will represent No. 32 BYU women’s golf in the 2017 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf National Championships held at Rich Harvest Farms May 18-24.
White tied for ninth place and shot -1 through three rounds at the NCAA Lubbock Regional to move on to the National Championships as an individual competitor.
The California native complied nine top-10 finishes during the 2016-17 campaign, while maintaining a 72.77 stroke average.
Twelve individuals will participate in the 2017 NCAA National Championships. While the 11 other competitors will start play on Friday, White will begin her first round of play on Thursday approximately 30 minutes after the practice round concludes to exclude Sunday play. The senior’s Thursday round will be considered her third round Sunday score.
Thursday’s shotgun practice round will begin at 9:30 a.m. CDT. White will begin play 30 minutes after the practice round finishes. Links to live scoring can be found on the BYU women’s golf schedule page.
