White named April WCC Golfer of the Month
SAN BRUNO, Calif. — The West Coast Conference named BYU senior Alexandra White as April’s WCC Golfer of the Month on Friday.
The senior competed in the Dale McNamara Invitational, the 2017 WCC Championships and the 2017 NCAA Lubbock Regional in April. White recorded a 72.67 stroke average for the month of April and tallied three top-10 finishes in all three tournaments.
White recorded her second-career individual victory at the WCC Championships on April 20-22. The senior carded 73-74-70 to shoot +1 and claim medalist honors. The California native also placed first at the BYU at Entrada Classic in 2015.
The senior tied for ninth place at the Dale McNamara Invitational and the NCAA Lubbock Regional. She shot -1 at the regional tournament to advance and represent BYU women’s golf at the NCAA Championships May 18-24.
