No. 31 Cougars to compete in SDSU March Mayhem
PROVO, Utah — BYU women’s golf will continue its spring season on Monday in the SDSU March Mayhem match-play tournament held at The Farms Golf Club in Rancho Santa Fe, California.
After hosting and placing second at the BYU at Entrada Classic on March 13-14, the Cougars will participate in their fifth event of the spring in the three-day tournament hosted by San Diego State University.
Fourteen teams will participate alongside BYU and SDSU, including West Coast Conference opponents Pepperdine, ranked 38th, and San Francisco. Other teams competing in the event include No. 2 USC, No. 14 Northwestern, No. 17 Arizona, No. 29 California, Fresno State, Idaho, Iowa, New Mexico, Old Dominion, UNLV, Washington State and Yale.
BYU will face Idaho in Monday’s first round of 18. The Cougars topped the Vandal 5&1 earlier in the year at the Trilogy Collegiate Quad Matches in February.
Teams will play 36 holes on Monday, followed by 18 on Tuesday and Wednesday on the par-72, 6,211-yard course.
Pairings will begin play on Monday at 7:30 a.m. PT. Live stats can be found on the BYU women’s golf schedule page.
