No. 18 women travel to Louisiana for NCAA Regionals
PROVO, Utah — With four regular season tournament wins and a West Coast Conference championship under its belt, No. 18 BYU women's golf will travel to Louisiana to participate as one of 10 teams at the 2016 NCAA Division I Women's Golf Regionals May 5-7.
Louisiana State University will play host as teams will compete at the par-72 University Club Golf Course. Duke, Florida, Arizona State, Washington, Oregon, South Carolina, East Carolina, NC State, Houston, Augusta, LSU, New Mexico, Denver, Harvard, North Florida, Wichita State and Fairleigh Dickinson will participate alongside BYU.
The six-lowest team scores will advance to the national championships held in Eugene, Oregon May 20-25. Three individuals with the lowest scores not on the six-lowest scoring teams will also advance.
Teams will play 54 holes over a three-day period, playing 18 holes each day. Players will begin round one Thursday at 7:30 a.m. CT. All competitors will tee off at either hole 1 or 10. Fans can follow the event live via links on the BYU women's golf schedule page.
