Dalton, Hocker and Yang receive WCC All-Academic honors

PROVO, Utah — The West Coast Conference named BYU women's golf team members Kendra Dalton, Brooklyn Hocker and Annie Yang to the WCC women's golf All-Academic team, Wednesday.

In order to be considered for the men's and women's golf WCC All-Academic teams, players must own a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average in the semester prior to the award given. Individuals also must have at least sophomore athletic standing, with at least one year in residence completed at the nominating institution.

Dalton, Hocker and Yang all met the requirements. Dalton is studying business, while Hocker is getting a degree in exercise & wellness. Yang is preparing for a degree in psychology.

Along with the three Cougars, seven other individuals received the honors: Alessandra Arza (Pepperdine), Kristin Le (Santa Clara), Alison Lillie (San Francisco), Emily Lundstrom (San Francisco), Ciera Min (Gonzaga), Clare Sorenson (San Francisco) and Katherine Zu (Pepperdine).
