Cougars to participate in Wahine Invitational

PROVO, Utah —BYU women’s golf will travel to Hawaii Oct. 20-22 to compete in the Rainbow Wahine Invitational hosted by the University of Hawaii.

Teams will play 54 holes of golf over three days of play at the par 72 Leilehua Golf Course on Oahu. Grand Canyon, Hawai’I, Hawai’i-Hilo, Mississippi, New Mexico State, North Dakota State, Northern Colorado, Northern Iowa, Oral Roberts, Sacramento State, South Dakota State, UAB, and Wyoming will participate alongside BYU.

The Cougars played in the event last year and took fourth place overall. Two current team members finished in the top-25. Senior Lea Garner tied for sixth place individually, shooting five-over-par and Kendra Dalton tied for 22nd.
