BYU to start fall season in two different tournaments

PROVO, Utah – The BYU women’s golf team will begin its 2015-2016 season this coming Monday and Tuesday Sept. 14-15, at two different tournaments.

Five of the nine players will travel to the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, hosted by Colorado State University at Ptarmigan Country Club. The four remaining players will compete individually at the Hobble Creek Fall Classic hosted by Utah Valley University, at Hobble Creek Golf Course in Springville, Utah.

Head coach Carrie Roberts looks forward to seeing continued improvement from the team this season.

“We’ve brought in some good players, and we have great returners.  We are expecting to improve this year, and have some really solid finishes,” Roberts said.

The Cougars will tee off Monday morning at Ptarmigan Country Club and at Hobble Creek Golf Course, respectively. Live scoring is provided at BYUcougars.com.
