Five women's golf team members named to WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll

PROVO, Utah -- Five BYU women's golf team members were named to the West Coast Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll this past week for their academic achievement in the 2014-2015 academic year.

Maria Yacaman, a graduate in information systems, earned gold honors for the 2014-2015 year, finishing with a 3.98 grade-point average. Yacaman, a native of Bogata, Columbia, also received the honor for the 2013-2014 school year.

Freshman Kendra Dalton and sophomore teammates Brooklyn Hocker and Annie Yang garnered silver honors, all finishing with grade-point averages between 3.5-3.74. 

Junior Carly Oldroyd, an economics major, earned bronze honors for the second straight year.  Bronze roll honorees must earn above a 3.0 GPA.  All student-athletes must also letter in their sport to receive recognition.
