Garner finishes strong at NCAA St. George Regional Championships
ST. GEORGE, Utah – Lea Garner shot her best round of the week to finish in a tie for 50th at the 2015 Division I Women’s Golf St. George Regional Championships on Saturday.
Garner, a junior from Washington Terrace, Utah, shot 74 in the third round, her best of the tournament, to jump up to an eight-way tie for 50th. Overall, she shot 18-over-par.
This was Garner’s first year competing at regionals. She had the best season of her collegiate career in 2014-15, winning the Gold Rush Tournament and finishing in the top 10 six times.
