Cougars compete in Arizona at the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational
PROVO, Utah – BYU women's golf travels to Tucson, Arizona this weekend for the Mountain View Collegiate Invitational, hosted by Missouri and Kansas State.
The Cougars will face a field of 20 teams at the 6,227-yard, Par-72 Mountain View Golf Club course. The two-day tournament begins with shotgun starts at 8 a.m. MST on Friday, March 20th, and Saturday, March 21st. Rounds one and two will be played on Monday, followed by third round play on Tuesday.
BYU will face Arkansas State, Cal State Fullerton, Colorado State, Florida International, Fresno State, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas State, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico State, Northern Arizona, North Texas, Old Dominion, Ohio State, Purdue, Texas State, UNC Greensboro and Wyoming.
Last season, Nebraska took home the tournament title, while Gonzaga's Alice Kim earned the individual championship title. The Cougars tied for sixth place in the tournament last year with an individual fourth place tie from Alex White.
White is coming off a first place finish Monday and Tuesday in the BYU Entrada Classic, where the Cougars finished in second place with standout performances from Lea Garner, Kendra Dalton and Carly Oldroyd.
