Cougars take on No. 11 Washington, Oregon at Bay Area Intercollegiate
PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s golf will compete in the Bay Area Intercollegiate women’s golf tournament, co-hosted by the University of San Francisco and San Jose State University, this Monday and Tuesday.
The Cougars are coming from a third-place tie with West Coast Conference rival Santa Clara two weeks ago at the Juli Inkster Spartan Invitational in San Jose, California.
BYU will be among a 14-team field, including the WCC's San Francisco and Gonzaga, as well as the Pac-12's Colorado, Oregon and Washington. The Mountain West will be represented by Colorado State, San Jose State and UNLV. Big West challengers include UC Davis, UC Irvine and UC Riverside. Also participating are Coastal Carolina (Big South) and Indiana (Big 10).
The two-day, 54-hole tournament will take place at the par-71, 6,050-yard Meadow Club golf course in Fairfax, California.
The first and second rounds will be held on Monday, March 9, the third round will be played Tuesday, March 10. Both days will begin with shotgun starts at 8:30 a.m. PST. Live scoring will be available on the BYU women's golf schedule page.
