Cougars to compete in Rainbow Wahine Invitational
PROVO, Utah – BYU women’s golf is back in action this Wednesday through Thursday at the Rainbow Wahine Invitational in Schofield Barracks, O’ahu.
The 14-team tournament, hosted by the University of Hawai’i, includes fellow Utah teams Utah Valley and Weber State. The teams will play 36 holes on Wednesday and the last 18 on Thursday at the par-72, 6,228-yard golf course.
The Cougars are looking to build off of the success they had at the NM Aggie Invitational where junior Lea Garner took fourth place individually, shooting six-under-par. Freshman Kendra Dalton and junior Carly Oldroyd both finished in a tie for 25th place, shooting five-over-par.
BYU finished the tournament in sixth place (+13) after shooting its lowest team total of the season.
The tournament will tee-off at 8:30 a.m. HT each day at the Leilehua Golf Course. Live scoring will be available on the BYU schedule page.
