Garner and Cougars finish in second at Matador Invitational
SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - Lea Garner and the BYU women's golf team both finished in second place at the Matador Invitational on Tuesday.
The Cougars finished at 59-over-par, trailing first place CSU Northridge by 36 strokes and five strokes ahead of third place Cal Poly.

Garner's second place finish at four-over-par included three third-round birdies and was four strokes behind first place. Her 72 score in the second round was a team best for the tournament.
