Cross Country Heads to Griak Invitational

PROVO, Utah — Coming off a two point victory at the BYU Invitational, the BYU women’s cross country team prepares for its second road trip of the season as the Cougars head to Minneapolis, Minn., for the Roy Griak Invitational on Saturday.

BYU will be one of eight nationally ranked teams participating in this week’s meet. Other teams include Iowa State (8), Arizona (10), Washington (11), Penn State (18), NC State (21), Michigan State (26) and Minnesota (30).

Currently ranked No. 23 in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association National Coaches’ Poll, this will be the first meet of the season in which the Cougars will run their top runners. 

The race is scheduled to begin at 1:10 p.m. CDT. After the completion of the meet, results can be found at www.gophersports.com.
